NCCU School of Law to Host Police/Community Forum

North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law will host a town hall-style meeting on police/community relations on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event is planned to foster open discussion about ways to establish, maintain and improve relations between communities and police throughout the state. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

Sponsors for the forum include the N.C. Association of Chiefs of Police, ABC News and the NCCU School of Law. The School of Law is at 640 Nelson St., Durham, 27707.

Other UNC campuses from across the state will participate via high definition video conferencing, including Elizabeth City State University, Fayetteville State University, Winston-Salem State University, UNC Wilmington and UNC Asheville.
