Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology Inductee Celebration

Please congratulate the 2012 Inductees of Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology.  The induction ceremony will be held on 11.20.12 at 10:40 am in 101 Taylor Education Building. The Psi Chi Chapter at North Carolina Central University was foundered on May 21, 1961. There were five charter members. Les Brinson of Kinston, N.C. was elected the first president of the chapter. The NCCU chapter was duly recognized in November 2004 by the Psi Chi National Office for its 43 years of continuing service to students and to the intellectual community world-wide.  Psi Chi serves two major goals. The first of these is the Society’s obligation to provide academic recognition to its inductees by the mere fact of membership. The second goal is the obligation of each of the Society’s local chapters to nurture the spark of that accomplishment by offering a climate congenial to its creative development.
