2nd Annual Fill My BackPack 5K Run/Walk

The NCCU School of Education is the host sponsor of the 2nd Annual Fill My BackPack 5K Run/Walk. This fun event takes place Saturday, September 27th at 9 am, Alfonso Elder Student Union, 1801 Fayetteville Street, Durham, NC 27707.  Proceeds from this event will help the Inter-faith Food Shuttle BackPack Buddies Program fill over 470 backpacks with food for children to eat over the weekend and deliver to schools in Durham County. We are striving for 500 Participants (Runners/Walkers) and 100 volunteers with a goal of raising $10,000 to donate to this cause.   We invite you to run or walk while being entertained by cheering zones and music throughout the course. You may create or join a team when you register. Get all of your friends and family to run/walk with you.
