Information Technology Services makes every effort to guarantee that the major systems on our campus are stable and accessible with as little downtime as possible. Systems require updates, upgrades, performance tuning, and other maintenance to ensure their stability and security. Vendors and other service providers also require maintenance to ensure ongoing support. We have posted NCCU ITS maintenance windows as well as those for our externally hosted systems. We work with the vendors and our campus community in scheduling maintenance windows when we can.
Will I be notified?
ITS scheduled maintenance will be announced via email, on myEOL and the ITS homepage. Unfortunately, all maintenance cannot be predicted for that reason emergency maintenance may be performed outside of the normal maintenance windows and with minimal notification. ITS continually reviews the maintenance schedule and available technologies to reduce any downtime.
