Frequently Asked Questions
When is the Add/Drop deadline? And what things should I consider?

The Add/Drop deadline is posted on the Academic Calendar for each semester of the academic year. The Add/Drop period, also known as the course-adjustment period, usually consists of the first five days of class for fall and spring terms and the first two days of class during summer terms.  Students should speak with their advisors before deciding to add or drop courses to discuss class load, number of credits attempted, academic progress, and other relevant issues.  Courses dropped during the Add/Drop period are removed from the schedule. Students adding courses late in the Add/Drop period should notify their professor(s) as soon as possible to obtain a syllabus and other needed materials.
