|How do I register for classes?|
Every new and continuing student at NCCU must meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for classes. An advisor will engage each student in a thorough discussion of his or her academic and personal progress toward meeting educational goals, as well as which courses are required for General Education and the major field of study. After meeting with their advisor, new transfer students who have achieved sophomore-level (30+) credits and continuing sophomores with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA will be given alternate personal identification numbers (PINs) to register for classes online using Banner SSB in MyEOL when the registration period opens. Sophomores with less than a 2.5 GPA and first-year students will be registered by their advisors.
Students are encouraged to schedule their pre-registration advisor appointments early in the semester to obtain the best selection of classes when the registration period begins.
