What are gift societies?
Gift societies are the university’s acknowledgement programs for recognizing certain types and levels of giving.  For example, you can become a lifelong member of the Chautauqua Heritage Society with a gift to the university through your will or trust, life insurance, life income annuity or bequest of real estate.  
 
The Shepard Society is an annual giving society for those contributing more than $1,000 per year, exclusive of Athletics.
