Frequently Asked Questions
Are there tutors on campus?
Tutorial Services are offered through the Developmental and Supplemental Learning Program of University College. For the students’ convenience, tutoring sessions are held in various locations across the campus. While our primary focus is to provide tutorial services for those courses in the General Education Curriculum, our professional and undergraduate tutors are equipped to meet the needs of some students enrolled in major/upper level courses. To set-up an appointment with one of our knowledgeable tutors, log into Grades First (www.gradesfirst.com).

Also, explore the University College Supplemental Instruction Program that focuses on peer facilitated study sessions for selected GEC courses. Supplemental Instruction creates opportunities for students to work with trained Supplemental Instruction Leaders and collaboratively with their classmates to solve problems, compare notes, discuss readings, develop academic skills, and prepare for tests and exams.
