Frequently Asked Questions
How do I check out library materials?
All circulating books can be checked out at the Circulation Desk on the first floor. NCCU students, faculty and staff must present a NCCU ID to check out library materials. TRLN Cooperative Lending Cards, UNC Cooperative Lending Cards, and Durham Technical Community College ID cards are also honored. Users are responsible for any library materials checked out with their ID cards.

Shepard Library circulation policies are designed to permit prompt and equitable access to library materials. The staff is committed to meeting the research needs of the library's patrons. The Circulation staff will explain specific borrowing guidelines and fine policies.
Please call Shepard Library Circulation Desk (919-530-6426) if you have questions.
