Dr. Alexandra Chassanoff is an assistant professor at the School of Library and Information Sciences. Her current research focuses on born-digital information, with an emphasis on cultural heritage materials. She has a Ph.D. and an M.S. in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at MIT's Program in Informatics. For the past decade, she has worked in embedded settings with librarians, technologists, and faculty on the design and development of digital research infrastructure.
