Brain Friendly Instruction

Event Details

This fun-filled workshop is for faculty participants who want to experience 20 brain-compatible strategies that will provide a multitude of additional ways to design curriculum and deliver instruction. Participants will learn how to revolutionize their instructional practices or support the effectiveness of some of their current practices. Taken from Marcia Tate’s book, Sit & Get Wont't Grow Dendrites: 20 Professional Strategies that Engage the Adult Brain, these 20 active learning strategies will get students excited about your course, spark creativity, improve student learning outcomes and increase student engagement.
