Best of Enemies Play

Description: Best of Enemies, directed by Dr. Asabi (Stephanie Howard) and written by Mark St. Germain, based on the novel by Osha Gray Davidson, both powerfully and gently showcase the 1971 relationship and activism of both Durham's Ann Atwater, African American Activist, and C.P. Ellis, Exalted Cyclops of the KKK in Durham during a charrette lead by former councilman, Bill Riddick. The unexpected union yields a legendary story of racial solidarity.  The play is a part of Durham 150 Celebration.  Shows run October 4 & 11 at 10am; October 4, 5, 11, 12 at 8pm; and October 6 & 13 at 3pm. Donations are accepted at the door.
