Decision Sciences

The Decision Sciences is designed to explore how humans make decisions in a variety of contexts – including economics and analytics.  These courses are ingrained into every major providing student with critical thinking and analytical capabilities that are critical to success in the workplace. 


SAS Certification- SAS certification is constructed to improve skills and expertise in quantitative analysis; additionally, there is significant industry validation by having SAS skills and expertise.   With this level of analytical capability there is an increased marketability for students or professionals that are searching for job opportunities.  The SAS Credentials are job-role focused, with immediate relevancy to real world needs.   The certificate is composed of four 3-credit hour courses (total of 12 credits), and is open for NCCU students and others through continuing education. 

SAP, a German software supplier, has partnered with NCCU School of Business for an important initiative to bring Big Data ideas and analytics to curriculum teaching.   This initiative entitled “Project Propel Empowered by SAP” collects the interest of HBCU’s across the country and integrates design-thinking methodology into their curriculums.    Project Propel is spearheaded by Delaware State University, Americas' SAP Users' Group (ASUG), SAP University Alliances program and Black Employee Network.
