Conference and Guest Services staff will be available to assist you from arrival to departure. The primary role of a conference staff member is to provide information and answer questions about the campus, residence halls, Durham and the surrounding area.
Assistant Director for Special Operations:
The Assistant Director for Special Operations is responsible for the overall management of summer conferences and guest housing. They are also responsible for leading department internships and assessment measures.
The Customer Service Representative oversees contracts and billing of conference services. They also work closely with the Assistant Director with coordinating reservations for conferences and guests.
Summer Conference Hosts:
Conference Hosts (CH) are student staff members who live within the residence halls over the summer and assist with needs of summer conference groups including conference preparation, check-in/out, preparing client materials and assisting with front desk operations.
