Circle of Sisters is an initiative that strives to inspire and support women to become engaged, confident and connected leaders in the NCCU community and beyond. Our goal is to prepare women for responsible and positive contributions to the campus community, develop and enhance women students’ self-esteem, aid students in developing relationships with administrators by exposing them to campus officials outside of their “typical” setting and role, make students aware of the multitude of campus facilities and resources, and support students in developing a network of peers with positive influences.

Circle of Sisters includes 3 core programs:

1. Annie Day Shepard Scholars
2. Eagle Women’s Village
3. Triple E Program Series (Embrace, Enhance and Empower Yourself!) - The purpose of this series is to create a stronger sense of community between female students and faculty, to enhance the collegiate experience of women students at NCCU and to provide rich networking opportunities for collegiate women as they pursue their career endeavors.
