FEMALE WARRIORS - WOMEN'S ROLE IN US MILITARY OPERATIONS
The United States Military is one of the most diverse organizations in the world.  With about 1.4 million men and women in uniform, the U.S. military is represented by every major racial subgroup.  This is essential to ensure representation of ideas as well as cultural understanding of the people it serves and the locations where it operates.  The military has also experienced a steady increase in the number of women since they were first allowed to join the ranks alongside their brothers in arms shortly after WWII.  Women and minorities have made great strides rising through the military ranks and enjoy opportunities for success with few boundaries.  This presentation specifically addresses how women in the military, while still somewhat pioneers, are given equal opportunity to lead across the ultimate diversity in complex situations.
