Maroon and Gray Days
Every spring, admissions officers and other representatives of NCCU hold "Maroon and Gray Days" at locations around the state and in a few cities outside North Carolina. Prospective students can meet with an admissions officer and be considered for fall acceptance. Parents and family members are also welcome to attend to learn more about the university.
Attend to take your placement test early! Your placement test results will help your academic advisors guide you to register for the appropriate first-year classes during the summer orientation session. By taking placement tests during this Pre-Orientation program, you are ahead of the curve during summer orientation (you will go to advising at the beginning of your session).
While your student is testing or meeting with an admissions officer, you can attend the session to learn about the enrollment process and academic expectations. Use this opportunity to meet NCCU departmental representatives and have your questions answered. Representatives will include members from offices of Scholarships and Student Aid, Residential Life, University College, Orientation and First-Year Experience and more.
Attend this session to meet with admissions officers and be considered for fall acceptance to NCCU. Make sure to bring your completed NCCU admissions application, an official high school transcript, and an official copy of your SAT/ACT score.
There is no cost to attend the Maroon and Gray Pre-Orientation program. But please note that attendance during summer orientation is required. Maroon and Gray Pre-Orientation is designed to help students complete the testing requirement early and provide any initial information needed.
Dates and registration information will be available in early spring 2012.
