NCCU Career Services is focused on building career successes in our students and alumni. As job seekers, alumni are encouraged to use office resources, both on-campus and online, to aid them in the career search. We have a resource library and periodicals pertaining to career opportunities and exploration, job hunting strategies and self-assessment.
EAGLE CAREER NETWORK
NCCU Alumni may set up an account with Eagle Career Network to gain access to opportunities exclusive to the NCCU community. Alumni can also learn about upcoming career fairs and other campus events that can aid in their job search.
DURHAM JOB LINK
NCCU Career Services has also partnered with Durham Job Link to work as a satellite office for NCCU alumni. This partnership includes workforce development presentations, one-on-one counseling sessions and job search coaching offered by Durham Job Link representatives at NCCU Career Services for alumni. Alumni are also encouraged to visit Durham Job Link as well to access services and resources.
MENTOR A STUDENT
Our NCCU graduates continue to amaze us with their dedication to our campus and to our current students. Alumni share their talents with us in a variety of ways, such as, visiting classrooms to share knowledge of the world-of-work, hosting panel discussions of their particular career field, participating in on-campus recruitment activities to hire NCCU students, and mentoring current students and young alumni.
