Recreational Swim                                                                                
The pool is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 5:00-11 PM and Saturday from 10:00 PM until 1:00 AM.*

The 50m pool ranges in depth from 4' to 12.5' and features two 1m diving boards, two 3m diving boards, a basketball goal, lanes set aside for lap swim, and a moveable bulkhead.

Campus recreation also sponsors both learn-to-swim and water fitness classes are which are offered on an ongoing basis and are free. Descriptions and dates of our classes are listed below.

Interval Training

Learn to Swim Classes
If you've decided it's time to take the plunge and learn to swim we've got an opportunity for you.   We offer classes for both beginning swimmers and those who want to brush up on their skills.   All our classes are conducted in a relaxed, supportive, fun atmosphere.   Registration is limited, so sign up quickly.   Register at the check-in window in the Walker Complex.   These courses are not for academic credit. Each class meets twice a week for five weeks.

Beginning Swimming
Session A - Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:30-6:00 TBD through TBD

Session B - Wednesday and Friday evenings 7:00-7:30 TBD through TBD

Session C - Tuesday and Thursday evenings 5:30-6:00 TBD through TBD

Session D - Wednesday and Friday evenings 7:00-7:30 TBD through TBD

Water Fitness
Swimming laps isn't the only way to get a great workout in the water. We offer a variety of classes to suit your exercise needs and style. Water fitness is for everyone, even if you can't swim; you don't even have to get your hair wet. These classes are offered on a "drop in" basis. Come see us!

Fluid Motion
This relaxed workout is a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Fluid motion is a low-impact class that incorporates elements of yoga and Pilates.

Wednesday evenings 7:30-8:10
Friday evenings 5:30-6:10

Use Your Noodle
An upbeat class using the fabulous, fun, foam noodle. This workout features interval training for building both strength and cardiovascular fitness.

Tuesday evenings 5:00-5:40
Thursday evenings 5:00-5:40

High NRG
Ever thought you could break a sweat while in the water?   Come find out. This 30-40 minute class is for those ready for a real cardio challenge.

Wednesday evenings 8:15-8:45
Friday evenings 6:15-6:55

Water Walking
This is a self paced program, We'll show you the basic principles and answer any questions, but here's a workout you can do anytime in the pool at the level to best suit your needs.
