Educational Leadership Program

Welcome to the Educational Leadership Program, where we prepare culturally responsive educational leaders who can effectively transform institutions of learning in marginalized communities, domestic and abroad. Faculty members are committed to cultivating effective educational leaders who are culturally competent, data and policy driven decision-makers, and leaders of change for continuous improvement and accountability. Effective educational leaders use research based best practices to work collaboratively to develop a common vision, mission, and strategic goals for their organization and stakeholders. The importance of social capital (the building of critical relationships and partnerships), effective communication and resource management is emphasized throughout all of our leadership programs. The Master of School Administration Program is housed in the Department of Allied Professions.
