Eagle Mania

Eagle Mania is the official start to the NCCU student experience. New and returning students begin their semester with various activities to assist with the transition back to academic and social life. Events during the week will serve as an opportunity for students to explore the vast array of resources available at NCCU, including academic, cultural, social, athletic, and community service programs.

Students are expected to attend Eagle Mania from August 10 to 13. Fall 2017 classes begin Monday, August 14.

Eagle Mania LIVE!: 8:00 - 10:00 p.m. located at the Recreational Outdoor Complex

A night of Eagle Pride… Amplified! Join the Student Activities Board for a night of performances, carnival novelties, and the recording of the Class of 2021 shuffle.

Midnight Scream: 10:00 p.m. - 12:00 a.m. located at the Recreational Outdoor Complex

Your Eagle Spirit takes FLIGHT at Midnight SCREAM. Here you will learn all of the must know NCCU chants, dances, and songs played by our very own Sound Machine Marching Band. Our spirit leaders, The SCREAMING EAGLES, will get you prepared to show any opponent what it means to be an Eagle. Your spirit training will take place in the championship O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium featuring special celebrity performance.

Training Day: 8:00 - 11:00 p.m. located at the McDougald-McLendon Arena 

You will be introduced to student organizations, experience campus life and learn what it means to be an Eagle. It’s Always Lit!
