Welcome to North Carolina Central University!  As parents and family members of NCCU students, you are officially part of the Eagle Family!

Your involvement with the University and the support of our students is an important aspect of their success at NCCU.  We are committed to providing parents and family members with important and up-to-date campus information, and to promote involvement in the NCCU community.

Parents and Family Association

The NCCU Parents and Family Association seeks to encourage and support student success by fostering positive relationships between families of NCCU students and the university community.

Association Resources

The Parents and Family Association:

• Acts as a liaison between the university and parents and family members to communicate institutional policies, practices, procedures and systems.
• Develops and coordinates programs and events that promote parent and family involvement.
• Advocates for students and their families during their transition into the university and throughout the student's tenure at NCCU.
• Serves as a referral resource.

To join the NCCU Parents & Family Association, please complete the membership form below and mail it with your $10 (per family member) membership fee. Money orders and checks accepted made payable to "NCCU Parents and Family Association. The address is on the application linked below. Click here for the membership form.

Getting Involved

The NCCU Parents and Family Association has three permanent committees:

1. Membership Committee: Works to build the membership and involvement in the Association
2. Parents' Liaison: Stays abreast of resources to serve parents and families of students and ensures they are shared with parents and families.
3. Special Projects Committee: Develops and plans parent events, programs, and services
