The Office of Student Leadership, Training and Development is committed to the belief that every student at North Carolina Central University has leadership potential. Our mission is to provide the foundation, skills, services, experiential opportunities and environment that promote student leadership development and ethical behavior. We recognize that by offering programs which link co-curricular activities to in-class instruction, we subsequently promote retention and facilitate the development of student's lifetime transferable skills in preparation for leadership in a global society.
The Office of Student Leadership, Training, and Development strives to offer students a comprehensive leadership program that emphasizes ethical behavior and includes leadership training, leadership education and leadership development.

Student Leadership, Training and Development offers a holistic approach to serving students. Our goal is to complement in-class-instruction with out-of-class learning experiences and programming which will promote students’ academic, personal, career and leadership development.
