NCCU Classes Canceled Today, University Operating Under Adverse Weather Policy
North Carolina Central University has cancelled classes for today, Wednesday, Jan. 29. The university will be open and operate under the Adverse Weather Policy. (Please reference chart below for section labeled, “Classes Cancelled, University Open.”) This policy allows staff to make independent decisions regarding their ability to safely navigate work arrival and departure. Please use extreme caution when on primary and secondary roads on and around the campus. For updates to this plan and information on tomorrow’s schedule, monitor the NCCU website, the university’s official social media accounts, your email from Public Relations, or call the NCCU weather line at (919) 530-7220.
To assist with snow and ice removal, please avoid parking on campus streets. Continue to use the Nelson Street parking lot or the lower-level parking lot of the Mary Townes Science Building.
