Tania Butler-Davis, ’94, president of the NCCU Alumni Association has been selected to receive the Legacy of Leaders National Alumni President of the Year Award. The award is presented by the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation and will be presented at the Annual Hall of Famers Awards Luncheon on Friday, Sept. 28 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Atlanta.

Butler-Davis received the award because of her exemplary leadership and service, as well as her outstanding support of Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

Butler-Davis was elected president of the Alumni Association in 2010. Also receiving the honor is Terry Woodard, president of the Jackson State University National Alumni Association.
