The final exhibition of the season, New Horizons: NCCU Artists, will open at the North Carolina Central University Art Museum on Thursday, April 29, at 4 p.m.

This year’s exhibit highlights the diverse range of media and techniques practiced by our students in the Art Department. The exhibit not only offers current students the opportunity to show their work in a professional gallery space, it also exposes prospective students to the Art Department’s offerings and the types of artwork that are produced. Visitors will be able to purchase many of the works, which represent a wide array of ceramics, drawings, prints, paintings and sculpture.

The North Carolina Central University Art Museum is on Lawson Street across from the Farrison–Newton Communications Building. Every effort is made to make all museum events accessible to the handicapped. For general information or assistance, please call 530-6211. For group visits, please call in advance. The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free.
