DEEGS Professors Present at the Duke Center for Health Informatics

On March 5th, 2014, DEEGS Assistant Professors Tim Mulrooney and Garrett Love presented on how GIS can be used in the health professions at the weekly Duke Center for Health Informatics Seminar Series.  The series is a weekly talk sponsored by Duke and supported by a number of UNC-system schools.  They discussed basic GIS concepts, advanced geostatistical analysis and their application that include student research and their research on measuring accessibility to food sources in the Durham-Chapel Hill area.  A link to the broadcast can be found at:
