Updates: University Police and Facilities Services

Temperatures are increasing and the snow is beginning to melt across the NCCU campus.

Please be careful as snow and ice may fall unexpectedly from the sides and edges of buildings.

The steps located between O’Kelly-Riddick Stadium and the track (in back of the Student Services Building and Taylor Education) remain closed due to icy conditions. In addition, the Walker Complex Lot is closed so it can be cleared by Facilities Services. The campus will observe open parking today due to the inclement weather.

Use caution and be aware and alert as you walk through the campus; tree limbs may fall from the weight of snow that is melting. Facilities Services is still working to clear snow from all walkways and streets. Please be careful and avoid walking in the middle of busy streets or intersections.

If you see anything hazardous, please report it immediately to the NCCU Police Department at 919-530-6106.

Due to the icy conditions of some secondary streets, Eagle Shuttles will not operate today. Please be sure to check http://nccumobile.etaspot.net from your mobile device or http://nccupublic.etaspot.net from your computer for updates.
