
The North Carolina Central University Department of Music is pleased to invite jazz lovers from around the Triangle to the Fall 2009 Jazz Combos Concert, Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at 7 p.m., in the B.N. Duke Auditorium. The concert will feature performances by student instrumentalists and vocalists and it is free and open to the public.
“People can expect some fantastic improvisation and performances by our top student performers,” said Baron Tymas, assistant director of Jazz Studies. “Our best jazz vocalists will be on hand to make sure this’ll be a great evening of music and it’s free to the public.”
B.N. Duke Auditorium is located at the corner of Fayetteville and Lawson Streets in Durham. Free parking will be available in the main parking lot at Fayetteville and Brant Streets.
