The North Carolina Central University School of Business will host the 2012 Summer Youth Business and Entrepreneurship Academy, presented by the Make It Happen Foundation Inspired by LEAD. The Academy is open to 20 high-achieving rising 10th- and 11th-grade students from Durham and surrounding counties. Students will receive business training and exposure to higher education on the campus of NCCU. The Academy will run from July 23 – Aug. 3 and is free for the selected participants.

The academy will include lectures, corporate visits, business plan development and case competition with the goal of preparing business leaders for the nextcentury.
