Application Deadline for NCCU's Master of Social Work!

The application deadline date for graduate admission to NCCU’s Master of Social Work Program is near! If you are interested in the Advanced Standing option, you must have a BSW and apply by January 15, 2019 to be considered for summer 2019 admissions. The MSW Advanced Standing option admits only for the summer term.  If you do not have a BSW, you must apply for the Traditional Option by February 1, 2019 to be considered for fall 2019 admissions. The MSW Traditional Option admits only for the fall term. The Social Work program also holds information sessions.  Click here for information session dates.

Admissions requirements for the MSW Advanced Standing Option (summer admissions only)
Online graduate admission application
Application Fee - $50
Official transcript(s) - all universities/colleges attended
Three (3) Letters of Recommendation (at least one from Field Instructor)
Minimum Cumulative GPA - 3.00 / Minimum Major GPA - 3.25
BSW or be completing a BSW
Narrative Statement
Writing Sample - article provided
Supplemental Social Work Application
Application Deadline Date - January 15th

Admissions requirements for the MSW Traditional Option (fall admissions only)
Online graduate admission application
Application Fee - $50
Official transcript(s) - all universities/colleges attended
Two (2) Letters of Recommendation (at least one from Field Instructor)
Minimum Cumulative GPA - 2.75 / Minimum Major GPA - 3.00
Personal Statement
Writing Sample - article provided
Application Deadline Date - February 1st
