Credit and Personal Finance Seminar at Law School

The NCCU School of Law invites the public to a free seminar Oct. 5 on legal issues surrounding credit.

The session, “Your Credit, Your Money and the Law,” is part of the Eagle Empowerment Series designed to present topics of interest to students and the broader community. The series is cosponsored by Law to the People LLC and the NCCU Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities.

In this session, attorneys will discuss collections actions, protecting your credit score, financial scams and other items that impact your money and credit. NCCU law professor Timothy J. Peterkin is the guest speaker.
The event is from 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 5, at the Turner Law Building. To register, contact Michelle Roberts at 919-530-6601 or talias@nccu.edu.  Registration is encouraged but not required.
