NCCU to Test Emergency System Siren, Sept. 28


North Carolina Central University (NCCU) will conduct a test of its emergency alert warning siren from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2018. During the siren test, individuals will hear a loud tone followed by a voice message announcing the test. Durham residents near the campus will also hear the sirens. During the test, there will be no requirement for citizens to take action or shelter in place.
