Alumna Named to GoTriangle's Board of Trustees

Valerie Jordan

Alumna Valerie Jordan has been appointed as a member of the GoTriangle Board of Trustees. Jordan will become an ex officio member of the board, which authorizes policies for organization.

Jordan also serves on the North Carolina Department of Transportation Board, which oversees the North Carolina Highway Trust Fund which funds new road construction projects. She has also served as a board member for Triangle Family Services.

The Warren County native currently works as an IBM Global Alliance Partner account manager for Cisco Systems where she is responsible for developing and executing growth strategies to accelerate impact. Previously, she served at Siemens Healthcare, DeVry University and IBM.

Jordan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in public administration from North Carolina Central University and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
