NCCU Appoints New Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations

The Office of Institutional Advancement at North Carolina Central University has announced the appointment of Randall Mounce as director of corporate and foundation relations. Mounce, who started in December, reports to Lois Deloatch, vice chancellor for Institutional Advancement.

Mounce will work with faculty and administrators campus-wide to intensify NCCU’s focus on corporate partnerships and fundraising. “I think NCCU has a great story to tell and is such an important asset to the community and the state,” Mounce said. “It’s perfectly positioned to build and strengthen partnerships with the corporate community that are mutually rewarding.”

A seasoned professional with 18 years of fund-raising experience, Mounce’s most recent state appointment was as director of development for the UNC School of Medicine, where he spent seven-and-a-half years raising major gifts for medical research programs. Before that, he served in the United Way system for almost 10 years, including four years as vice president of community campaigns for the United Way of the Greater Triangle.

Mounce attended the University of Houston, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism.
