Published: Thursday, May 01, 2014

Members of the North Carolina Central University chapter of the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association volunteered Saturday, April 8 with the Autism Society of North Carolina at their Camp Royall location in Moncure, NC. In honor of Autism Awareness Month, the future speech-language pathologists helped prepare summer camp kits that included some basic communication tools for the kids that attend summer camps. They also got the chance to help prep lunch and stay to eat with the campers and counselors.
