Centennial Scholars Program Membership Requirements

Future leaders at work!

Students are accepted into a cohort of 40 following a competitive application process that takes place in late spring/summer each year. Members must be part of CSP for all four years and live in the CSP Living Learning Community for a minimum of two years. Participants will attend regular one-on-one and group meetings with a program coordinator and all of the MAC events.

Members will participate in academic skills development, leadership development, identity development, financial responsibility, manhood/masculinity, brotherhood, and spiritual awareness.

There is no minimum GPA to join; however, we require a desire to learn how to conduct research and a commitment to the program’s requirements. Members will earn research distinction recognition upon graduation. The goal is to increase retention and graduation rates, as well as produce more Black males who attend graduate and professional schools.
