Frequently Asked Questions
How do I connect to the NCCU network?

NCCU maintains two campus networks, wired and wireless.

Wired

You can access the NCCU Network with an Ethernet connection from on-campus offices, classrooms, residence halls, and other locations.

If you are experiencing issues with your wired connection, contact ETAC for service.

Wireless

Guest wireless access is available for up to 8hrs of web-only access.  Select the Eagles-WiFi SSID and complete the self-registration portal on your web browser indicating that you are a guest.  Self-registration requires having access to a mobile device capable of receiving text messages or email in order to receive your temporary username and password information.

Active Directory user accounts are required for student and employees connecting to the wireless network.  Select the Eagles-WiFi SSID and complete the self-registration portal on your web browser indicating that you are a student, faculty or staff member.  Once completed, the registration on the device is valid for a period six months.
