How do I earn community service hours?
Students can earn community service hours volunteering by participating in the following activities: agencies, onetime events, and service learning. Examples of service learning activities include practicums, field observations, clinicals, unpaid internships and student teaching. Step by Step: 1) Complete a Student Volunteer Registration Form. 2) Select an approved Service Learning course, and/or review the list of Community Agencies or One Time Events. 3) Enroll in a Service Learning course, and/or register for a volunteer placement with an agency or OTE. 4) Complete your volunteer hours and submit a Volunteer Time Sheet to the ACSLP office with a valid signature from your agency supervisor, instructor or OTE organizer.
