How Do I Setup EagleMail with Other Mail Clients?
Change Your Google Apps Password
1. Sign into EagleMail (http://mail.eagles.nccu.edu)
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on the Accounts tab
4. Click on the Change Password link
5. You will be redirected to the Google Apps Password Change page
6. Enter your User Name
7. Enter your Active Directory password
Note: This is the same username and password to log into computers on campus, checking your e-mail, etc.
8. Enter the password you want to use for your Google applications.
9. Retype your new password.
10. Click on the OK button.

To enable IMAP in Eaglemail:
1. Sign in to Eaglemail (http://mail.eagles.nccu.edu)
2. Click Settings at the top
3. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP
4. In the IMAP Access section, select Enable IMAP
5. Configure your IMAP client and click Save Changes

You can use the following information to configure IMAP with many mail clients. Please note that if your client does not support SMTP authentication, you won't be able to send mail through your client using your EagleMail address.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server - requires SSL:imap.gmail.com
Use SSL: Yes
Port: 993
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server - requires TLS:smtp.gmail.com (use authentication)
Use Authentication: Yes
Use STARTTLS: Yes (some clients call this SSL)
Port: 465 or 587
Account Name: your full email address, username@eagles.nccu.edu
Email Address: your full email address, username@eagles.nccu.edu
Password: your Google Apps password, that was set using the steps above
