Hear the C.A.L.L.

Introduction

The 4th annual Hear the C.A.L.L. Conference will be held April 20, 2012 in the Alfonso Elder Student Union on the campus of NCCU.

This annual conference is dedicated to educating the North Carolina educational community on best practices and research in college student development, student affairs and enrollment management.

This year's theme will focus current topics and collaborations between Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and Athletics in efforts to support the success of student athletes." to the end of the Introduction section.

Program proposals are currently being accepted. The deadline for all program proposals is March 31, 2011.

Purpose

Collaborating to support the success of diverse student populations.


Learning Outcomes

  1. Identify practices that engage diverse voices to contribute to the change that is needed on college campuses, in organizations, and/or the world.
  2. Develop strategies for collaboration between Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Athletics and beyond.
  3. Learn ways to support student’s transition from secondary to higher education and “advance the consciousness of social responsibility in a diverse, global society.”

The Hear the C.A.L.L conference series is hosted by the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at North Carolina Central University.
