Restricted Areas

Do not park in the following restricted areas:

  • Fire lanes or blocking fire hydrants
  • Disabled parking spaces (unless you have a valid HD permit)
  • Places where no-parking or tow-away signs are posted
  • Areas where curbs or pavement are painted yellow
  • Sidewalks
  • Landscaped areas

Parking citations will be issued to vehicles in violation of any of these regulations. A campus parking citation will be left on the windshield of the vehicle and will indicate the type of violation and the amount of the fine. Student records are tagged for outstanding parking citations. Fines owed at the end of a semester may be included on the student’s next tuition statement.  All cars parked illegally will be ticketed up to three parking tickets, after which the vehicle will be immobilized or towed at the owner’s expense.
