Employee Parking

Unless you are a current holder of a reserved parking permit, do not purchase a reserved permit until you have permission from the Traffic Manager. Most reserve lots have a waiting list for newcomers. Please do not call in reference to a reserved space; you will be contacted should one become available. Faculty and staff must register their vehicles for their reserve parking spaces within five days after the expiration date, or their spaces will be sold.

Do not park in the reserved spaces of other faculty and staff members. Because violations of this policy have become frequent, University Police have introduced an immobilization system. If you are parked on campus without a permit, or in the wrong lot or wrong reserved space, you will be ticketed, towed, or booted. If your car is booted, you will have to pay a fine of $25 to have the boot removed. Any vehicle with three or more unpaid citations will also be booted. All outstanding tickets plus the $25 fine must be paid before the boot will be removed. This policy will be enforced 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Payments for immobilization removal can be made at the Bursar's Office. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted.

NOTE: If you are parked in a reserved or handicapped space without the proper decals, you will be ticketed and your vehicle will be towed. You are not allowed to park in other designated areas after 5 p.m.
