The NCCU Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety office (EOHS) works to provide a safe and healthful working environment for the university’s faculty and staff.  This is done by providing technical support, training, consultation, workplace audits and evaluations.  EOHS provides health, safety, and environmental services to the university to facilitate compliance with all environmental, occupational health and safety regulations. These regulations include those promulgated by OSHA, EPA, the N.C. Department of Labor, N.C. Department of Insurance and other applicable regulations and standards.
