Food and Alcohol Related Incidents

Alcohol Intoxication/Poisoning
Alcohol poisoning can be fatal. Do not allow someone who has drunk too much to "sleep it off." Stay beside the person and call 919-530-6106 immediately if the person:

  • Cannot be roused/awakened
  • Is incoherent and is vomiting
  • Breathes shallowly
  • Has cold, clammy skin or looks bluish or pale
  • Has taken other drugs with alcohol
  • Has a head injury

Medical and Mental Health Emergencies
Call 919-530-6106 in any emergency that requires immediate police, fire or medical response to preserve a life.

This includes:

  • Serious injury or illness
  • Serious mental-health issues that might lead to suicide, assault or homicide
