Move-In / Move-Out

Summer Transition Housing

Students living on campus for summer two will have the opportunity to transition to their fall assignments on Sunday, July 31. Volunteers will be made available from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. to assist with loading and unloading belongings. Students will check-out of New Res II, Richmond and Chidley and  report to their fall assignment building to move-in. If your fall assignment is in New Res II, Richmond, Baynes or Eagle Landing, you will be notified of a date in August for you to transition to your fall assignment.

Drop and Go Early Move-In

Drop and Go will occur on July 30 and August 8 beginning at 7 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m. Students will go directly to their assigned hall to check-in, unload and then park in the designated areas.

Advantages of the new Drop and Go program:

  • Reduced stress for move-in day, only check-in will be required to obtain permanent key.
  • Opportunity to note other items students may need or take home excess items.
  • Convenience for weekend move-in for parent and family support.

This program only allows you to drop off items into the student's assigned room. Students will not be permitted to stay overnight until August 11.
