Move-In / Move-Out

Move-Out Spring 2015

Nongraduating Students: May 6, 2015 at 10 a.m.
ID cards will stop working at this time. You must be moved and checked out to avoid an improper check out fee.

Graduating Students: May 9, 2015 at 5 p.m.
Notify your Residential Life Coordinator of your graduation plans.

Checkout Process

  • Sign up for a checkout with your RA or complete an express checkout by dropping off your keys and signing paperwork at your hall's front desk.
  • Turn in your keys to your hall's front desk 
    You should NOT leave your keys in your room, with a friend, with your RA, with campus police, etc. Failure to turn in keys at your front desk will result in a lock change being charged to your account.
  • Leave your room free of your belongings.
  • Clean your room, suite/apartment bathroom, kitchen, living room, etc.
  • Lock your door when you leave.

It is recommended that those who are headed to the BRITE building (number 13 on the map) exit Highway 147 and head south onto Fayetteville Street. From I-40 head north on Fayetteville Street. Continue on Fayetteville St. and turn west onto Lawson St. 

It is recommended that those who are headed to the Michaux Jr School of Education (number 31 on the map) exit Highway 147 head south on Alston Ave./ Highway 55. From I-40 head north on Alston Ave./ Highway 55. Continue on Alston Ave. and head west onto Burlington Ave.
