To search by name, enter the person's full, last, or partial name. The search will return all names that match or begin with the letters that you entered as the search criteria. For example, to find John Doe, you could enter "john doe", "j doe", "doe j", "john", or "doe".
To search by job title,
enter the complete or part of the title. The search will return all names that match or contain the title entered.
To search by phone number,
you may enter the person's full "919-555-555" or partial phone number "555-555" or "5555".
To search by department,
select the department that you want to search for from the department dropdown list. By default, the search will look through all departments.
To search by building,
select the building that you want to search for from the building dropdown list. By default, the search will look through all buildings.
The more specific your search, the fewer results are returned.
The easiest way to exchange contact information with people over the Internet is by attaching a business card to e-mail messages. A business card is your contact information from the Address Book in vCard format. The vCard format can be used with a wide variety of digital devices and operating systems.
To download a vCard click on the picture that looks like . If your browser is configured to open vCard files with your address book application the vCard will be loaded, if not, you can save the file to your desktop and open it with your address book program if it supports vCard.
