Zawadi Powell is currently serving as the Business Officer in the Information Technology Services Department. Ms. Powell earned a Bachelors Degree from Brown University and is currently working on her MBA at NCCU. She relocated to North Carolina from New York City in 1999, and worked as a Business Manager for the African American Dance Ensemble. She then served as Business manager for the Alase Center for Enrichment Psychological Practice before working as the Assistant to the Director of Auxiliary & Business Services and finally the Business Officer of ITS here at NCCU. Ms. Powell's talents are in the areas of Finacial Management, Budget Management, Grant Writing, Grant Management, and Administrative Support. Zawadi has been a member of the NCCU family since 2004.
