Dr. Goldman's specialty is child clinical psychology. He graduated as an APA Minority Fellow from UNC-CH, completed an internship at Duke University Medical Center, and is a licensed psychologist. He is the recipient of the NCCU Teaching Excellence Award and is a former chair of the NCCU Institutional Review Board for the Protection of Human Subjects in Research. His memberships include the North Carolina Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. He is a co-chair of the North Carolina Psychological Foundation?s (NCPF?s) Scientific, Academic and Student Affairs Committee and a member of NCPF?s Board of Directors. His teaching and research interests include ethics and professional issues and factors associated with student adjustment and accomplishment.
