I am responsible for providing support for the functional user communities, providing system analysis, coordinating training, processing related security access requests, and coordinating scheduled maintenance and problem resolution to ensure continued availability of applications. I am also responsible for implementing and maintain applications which interface with the Banner ERP systems in addition to other duties which many not include BDMS.
Biography
Born in the city of medicine, Durham, North Carolina, and raised in Hillsborough, I always dreamed big when it came to my future. A computer lover since the age of five, I was eager to learn and explore limitless possibilities when it came to technology. Upon completing high school, I decided to attend Winston-Salem State University to major in Computer Science. Armed with a thirst for knowledge, I began my undergraduate career. While completing my studies, I was actively involved in various clubs, organizations, and extracurricular activities. In 2005, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science and entered the workforce to gain valuable experience. Not long after, I found the key to success lay in furthering my education. As a result, I earned a Master's degree in Information Science. In 2009, only 12 months after beginning the program, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University. In 2010 I merited the position of North Carolina Central University's Banner Document Management Suite Administrator. I am also responsible for implementing and maintain applications which interface with the Banner ERP systems in addition to other duties which many not include BDMS. I have been employed at North Carolina Central University for four years. I am also a Notary Public, a life member of the Winston-Salem State University Alumni Association, member of the Alpha Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the American Society for Information Science and Technology, the Society of Women Engineers, as well as, Women for Success. Most of all, I am a focused individual who still finds time to serve my community, while determined to achieve the goals that I set for myself.
